We Survived!

We made it through!

The tooth fairy and Santa had cookies together or so it seems. All of the knitted items have been given with much success. The fingerless mitts that I made seemed to go over well as well as all of the many scarves that I frantically knit. I think I must have given over 10 scarves this year. All out of different yarn and different patterns.

All in all a very good ending to all of that super frantic knitting. Now I am working on the Dark Mark scarf for husband, pirate hat for husband, mitts for husband, slippers or socks for JoAnn, and who knows what else. I need to finish up more projects before more get started or before I add more onto needles. That is going to be my commitment that I try to get one project a month done. I also want to take a few classes this next year. I want to get my crochet skills polished up. I think my tension for crochet is off as I am a picker.

Going to head out into the mall today with toddler girl. Big girl is going to Nana's house to open gifts and spend the night. We went out yesterday but it wasn't very good for finding anything that fit or looked good on me. So we will try a different mall in a nicer area of town today. We'll see how long toddler girl lasts.

Looks like snow is on the menu today........not a big deal. We had a nice dusting on Christmas Day as well which was nice. Looking forward to getting back my house in the next few days so if you don't see a post I am cleaning up after the messes.

Back to the knitting!
